Topic 9: PRINCIPAL PARTS OF VERB
All tenses and other verb constructions are formed from the principal parts of the verbs.
Examples:
From the above examples, we can classify the verb into two types, regular and iregular.
1. Regular verbs form their past form and pas participle with 'ed', like walked/walked.
2. Irregular verbs are those like ran/run, wrote/written, built/built, cut/cut.
For english language learning, it is necessary to memorise the forms of irregular verbs so as to avoid mistakes in verb forms.
